Villa Fridau is a modern house from its ancient roots.

It was born in the 1600s as a typical hut and has been enlarged and modified several times over the centuries. Our latest, respectful restoration has preserved its historical characteristics and its connection to Walser traditions and the territory of Gressoney Saint Jean.

We decided to make it known to everyone, and now it has become an RTA (Tourist-Hotel Residence) with apartments, spa and restaurant, overlooking the mountains and the surrounding meadows and forests

RESTAURANT

Mont Néry

The name of the restaurant is an homage To our beloved great-uncles Pina and Erwin Monterin, who together ran the Locanda Mont Néry in the Bieltschòcke area in Gressoney Saint Jean in the 1950s.

Lounge and bar

The lounge and bar are always ready to welcome you: the piano is happy to be played, books are available for reference, chess and checkers are eagerly reassembling themselves on the inlaid card table; if you don't feel like being active you can simply enjoy a good coffee or an aperitif before going out
